Thanks a fucking bundle for making me remember that game. I'd successfully stuck that in the recycle bin ready for permanent deletion.

That showed the technique he has though. But he also has the power ala Kolarov.

Once again to remind people, he's a kid, a fast developing kid... This notion that he is regressing or inconsistent, is a consequence of level. To flip this around a little, he has become a goal scorer, he wasn't as natural at it at youth level, meaning in and around the 6 yard box. When the melting pot of his talent becomes a potion, he'll be one of, if not the best all around striker in the league, he's that good...

People expecting Jesus, for example, to not suffer the same kind of downturn are in for a surprise, kelechi has played at the highest level and held his own on a more consistent basis... That's not to say he isn't as talented, just that expectations need to be managed.

Put it this way, we potentially have the two best forward prospects in Europe, but patience as usual will be the key!!

You know what it's like on here, a couple of below-par performances and it's one of :-

"he'll never be good enough" - any player under 21
"he's finished" - any player over 30
"sell him while we can get a decent fee" - any player aged 21-30

More than two.

I recon we actually have too much talent to fit in, a few years down the line.

Future is bright & blue.

Love Kelchi and think hes going to be a top top player. Id like him (if we had the cover) to go out on loan and play a full season as a main striker. Similar to Lukaku did at Chelsea except we wouldn't get rid! I just feel he needs to be playing consistently to develop and with Sergio and the incoming Jesus I don't think he's going to develop as quick as we want him too.

Much better all round footballer, I'd say Sturridge was more of a threat on the counter with his pace and more likely to score from bizarre positions.

If he turns out to be at the level Sturridge can play to now (minus the injuries) then I would be happy with that.

If jesus is used centrally and provides competition to Kun , I believe this guy would be restricted to Cup games only .

Still not impressed by him enough to think we can rely on him as backup to Aguero. He';s young and a good prospect is about the top aand tail of it.

So what do you suggest? Bring someone else in and loan him out perhaps?

His scoring/assisting ratio is absolutely fine, far better than players such as Sturridge, Batshyuai, Claudio Pizarro, Alcacer etc are getting from the same squad position. He's a more than capable back up.

Hasn't played a game for us during the last month now. And Aguero hasn't even been at his best. Loan move in January? He needs to get more gametime to develop. He could easily been brought on today with 20-25 minutes to go and the same goes for the match against Palace. He's only played 7 minutes in CL this season (still scored a goal despite that). Must start against Celtic in two weeks (as should Maffeo and Sane), and maybe against Burnley on Saturday.

Unfortunately Pep seems to dislike the bench in general, there have been exceptions but he seems to like to give players about five minutes to win us the game. Iheanacho will be as good as Aguero in five years if we use him properly.

Iheanacho is being shafted. Can't even get minutes after Aguero's minor injury, drop in form and overall superb strike/assist rate. Looks like it may well be time to move on. Even Pellegrini seems to have treated the lad better...
