Anyone noticed that Kelechi brings something different to the team? Like, a sort of confidence they usually don't have in his absence. If they could win a United by 3 goals to 1 that they lost to 4-0 just 2 weeks ago in his absence, then you really must commend his impact on thee team

I don't recall Sturridge being voted best player at U17 world cup. The guy has been excellent since U13. No offense, but Sturridge could never make that Nigeria U17 team. Watch the U20 world cup, it's the same team from the U13. In Nigeria, people believe this is probably the best youth team in history, even though we have won the U17 four times.
Neville Kneville said:But I thought that lad who played midfield & went to Spurs had a great tournament too. Can't remember his name but we were rumoured to be after him as well as Iheanacho & Nawakali.

Musa Yahaya
Other Nigerians to watch: Moses Simon, Kingsley Sokari and Isaac Success (who was the star of the U17 side before he got injured and Kelechi took his spot). Also watch Taiwo Awoniyi, who has grown leaps and bounds since U17, currently the star of U20 side with the absence of Iheanacho, Success and Simon.

Papers would love it if we signed him.

He looks the real deal

Does anyone know how long Iheanachos contract is?
He only signed last Oct/Nov did he not when he turned 18? Surely he signed a longer contract than that?aguero93:20 said:blue ranger said:I will be really disappointed if lopes, iheanacho and denayer aren't around the first team squad next season. Maybe a couple of others too.

2016, we should probably extend it in the summer.
He has to be registered with the club, not actually play at any level.Ballertelli said:I'm a little fuzzy on how homegrown works. I know you have to play for a club for like 3 years before you turn 21, but do senior team games count? Like if we brought up iheanacho next year would it qualify as another year towards becoming homegrown or does it have to be youth leagues?
I guess it counts playing on the senior team as well, anything else wouldn't make sense :)Ballertelli said:I'm a little fuzzy on how homegrown works. That's alright for you from over thereandersmcfcdk said:Pellegrini can fuck off, he doesn't give a shit about youth, come on in the 2 years he's been here, only Lopes and Pozo have featured, and we all know why Pozo featured. I would personally trade succes in next season for youth in the 1st team, I really hope Lopes and Iheanacho will be integrated to the 1st team, they are both good enough.I'm no cynic said:Knowing Pellegrini, he'd probably loan Kelechi to Stoke, or to another club where the manager would poison the boy's mind against us.sam663 said:Won't going to happen under Pellegrini. Boiled my piss when i heard that we intend to loan Denayer to a Championship club.
