Kelechi Iheanacho

what`s with the "I see ALL City fans already calling him a striker"

I think he is a great finisher, has great vision and has the knack of being able to find space. I think he is able to play either role

I mean he's only 19, who knows he might turn out to be something else..like an upgraded version of KDB in a few yrs time not just a striker.

Too early to judge either of them as more than promising. Same hype over Januzaj couple of seasons ago. Now his only purpose is to decorate the touchline with his youthful visage.

He deserves a better contract, if the reports are true then yes he will of watched Stirling rock up collect shit loads of money and deliver fuck all so why shouldn't he be close to him. In reality he shouldn't and should get an increase but nothing major.
Deliver fuck all? He has delivered more han kelechi.

If you check whoscored.com you will see their rating, and they gave Rashford higher rating than Kelechi.
The "who scored" rating system only sort-of works for players who play for large portions of a game - as you would know if you followed these things. Kelchi was on the pitch for no time at all - 2 mins? - against Palace away and scored the winner yet there is no mention of him in the match stats.

Kelechi is a more natural footballer and technically better.
Rashford is a grafter and has to work hard to have an impact.

Both have a lot of work to do but both have the potential.

Whoscored counts 1 minute cameos with the same weight as full starts. Given the Whoscored rating is counted in terms of achievements on the field your almost certain to have a rating of +/- 6.

Rashford played mostly as a starter, Kelechi as a sub. Hence Kelechi is almost guaranteed worse Whoscored ratings.

Rashford had a 6,88 from 10 starts, Kelechi a 7,42 from 6 starts.

Thanks for the clarification.

Both fine lads.......Kelechi is ours and I'm happy with that.
The who is best answer will become apparent all in good time
For now good luck to them both on their careers.
I'm also an England fan so I really can't lose.

Rashford near enough a whole year younger. And and has scored big goals including a Derby winner. A derby winner at 18 is nothing to be sniffed at.

Kelechi has more goals, and looks a more accomplished finisher and let's not forget he is in a foreign country probably without many friends outside of the club.

Both are at an age that they could both go on to be world stars, just one of them or neither.

Don't think it's fair to compare at this stage of their careers as both in their infancy. I'm glad we have Ian and wouldn't swap him for Rashford but if we had Rashford (and he was a Manchester born city fan) then I wouldn't swap for Ian if he was at the rags.

Who is better, who will win most, who will be world class etc. Revisit in 10 years.
