Kelvin Etuhu

Anyone ever met him? Top guy with plenty of time to speak. I met him in 235 casino when the last hatton fight were on. Bought the rounds in for me and the lads.
I got a video of him saying how much he hated de jong...random but true.

He put in 110% tonight and was clearly not fit. You could tell he was frustrated with himself and i felt pretty shit for him when he missed that chance. The usual suspects got on his back though, just glad it was through a message board.

Dont agree with people giving the lad abuse, thats not right. It isnt his fault he isnt good enough.

However anyone who thinks he is good enough for the first team, or even the top half of the premiership, has no eye for a player whatsoever.

He isnt good enough, move him on to a Championship side and let him find his level with the best of luck from us.

thank you for making me feel sane. wasn't sure it was ok to either...

a) like the guy, even though he's just not good enough, or...

b) mention that he looks like a fish out of water, almost every step of the way, and in no way looks like ever becoming a solid premiership player without someone telling me that i'm a bandwagon, city-hating, flag-burning nazi twat.

I really wanted him to do well but I'm afraid he just isn't very good, he gave the ball away so much and put other players under pressure all the time, and just looks out of his depth tbh, I think he's probably the worst player at the club atm and I include TBH. I will never boo him and will support him and I do actually like him, but let's be honest he's a championship player.

I tell you what, the lad kept going and looking for the ball. It was good to see such commitment.

I doubt he'll make it but a player that puts in a shift will always have my respect. He tried his best, if that isn't good enough then so be it but at least he's giving it a go.

Unfortunately his touch just isn't there, but giving him abuse is way out of order.

I agree, last season I was probably a bit harsh with some of the criticism I gave Gelson (even though he was shit! :P) but any player that gives 100% I will respect. Some players have it and some don't but if you work hard then we can't ask for much more if you keep getting picked.

Don't agree with slagging him off and will never slag a player off for being shit, as its not there fault they are shit but Kelvin is shit.

To be honest if you'd have told me before the game tonight that he would play 90 minutes I'd have bet against it but I thought he played ok - seemed knackered quite early in the 2nd half but I think physically he looks stronger than last year and he can only come on for the outing.
