I've lived in Nigeria and she's not wrong.

Badenoch has a British Passport because her wealthy parents flew over just prior to her birth in 1980 to ensure she was born here, this was before the British Nationality Act of 1981 abolished automatic birthright citizenship for those born in the UK, the family then returned to Nigeria. Back in the day this was not an uncommon occurrence, a British passport opens doors a Nigerian one does not.

She really only moved here when she was 16.

And she'll make her premiership about pulling up the ladder after she's climbed up it even more.

I find her such a strange character, full of contradictions. Even her way of speaking is hybrid of affected RP, and Nigerian.
