just found out that our local independent radio station, radio shite (CFM, really) is switching to this Greatest hits radio station. We switched to Greatest Hits as soon as Mayo found his way there, a good spread of music, Radio 2 is pretty much fucked for me with the exception of Lisa Tarbuck and the sounds of the 60’s/70’s and 80’s shows, Ken Bruce leaving is another nail in its coffin.
Go on. Admit it. You were taking the piss :-)I’ve had my skrike about him now. Please don’t start me off again!
Because of him and Terry Wogan I made a lot of good friends. TOGs conventions and meet ups. I won’t answer my phone when PopMaster is on, in fact this morning I had to deliver something to my doctor’s and sat in my car until the first contestant finished knew I then had the length of the record to get in deliver the sample and get back to my car! I made it just as he asked the first question to the second contestant!! :-)
I’m devastated.
I get you but there’s only Ken Bruce worth listening to on R2 now so one of the channels I’ve retuned to is Greatest Hits radio. The music is more to my liking these days as R2 music isn’t my ideal choice anymore with these newer presenters.I’ve had my skrike about him now. Please don’t start me off again!
