Deserve's a rest i'd say, he played a lot of good games and now his form is dropping a bit, still was usefull tonight. Besides though, i think we can now more easily afford it to give him a rest, as the team seems to be playing great in depth even if some key players would go missing.

he grew up as game went on. First 20 minutes was the worst I've seen him ever. I'm not sure he completed a pass in that period. But the good thing about him is that even when is not having a great game, and that is not as rare as I'd like, he is always able to create chance or two. Last season was great proof to that, many average games but still managed 18 assists.

We'll see more games like this, he just doesn't have engine to play 60-70 games at best standard, but boy, he'll deliver enough.

He went from fucking useless, to world class.

Which is what world class players can do.

yeah, used to be his trademark. Shows his potential when he can put in games like Stoke where he was utterly unplayable throughout.

Even more positive that he can have a lacklustre half away at Napoli and the team still marches on and copes perfectly fine. That's re-assuring that we're such a strong team.

He is awesome though and I hope he's saving a ton of it for the Gooners. Him putting it on a plate for a Sterling hat-trick on Sunday would be a sight.

First 20 minutes against Napoli i thought he had put his boots on the wrong feet , then he flicks a switch and becomes world class , looks like City are looking to extending his contract at £250k a week , its a Belgian bargain

He’s an excellent player and therefore will always at a minimum have moments of quality but I thought he was poor tonight. I’m of the opinion that Pep is using him a bit irresponsively and not managing his minutes enough like he is doing well with Silva.

last night he had a performance very much from last season, sporadic. but he still had a decent knock about.

Pep isn't to blame, KdB always struggles under heavy pressing. Just lacks technique/footwork to get through press. I think the way forward is improving his positioning/movement to avoid pressing situation, Toni Kroos is a good example - same stature as Kev, not really press-resistant in terms of technique, but it's almost impossible to get the ball off him as he's positioning himself so intelligently.

DeBruyne has played just 50 minutes more than Silva so far.
