I just find it baffling that we allow Kev to leave - someone who can still change a game - yet we will probably keep Bernardo who offers absolutely nothing..
And extend Gundogan's contract. Somebody we wouldn't give a 2 year contract to 2 years ago.
Kev was still the leading chance creater per 90 minutes in the WHOLE league this season even before Saturday. People are unfairly judging him off his prime and not how much better he still is than the average player in the Premier League. Nobody else in the league is capable of that kind of performance on Saturday.. NOBODY!
Reports were doing the rounds a few weeks ago that he was happy to accept a reduced 150k a week to secure World Cup football for Belgium. Silly letting him leave in my opinion if that was the case.
