Grow up.So if he went and signed for Liverpool or Arsenal you would be happy?
The guy is a legend at our club, why would he want to destroy that?
Remember a certain Luis Figo, Barca then Madrid, destroyed his reputation.

Gundo should be told the same thing has DebruyneHa - always thought we would have an issue with Kev when his times up. But that was more on a thought that he would be on the bench for a season.
He has a big ego like all great players have. But to give a sour grapes interview in the Goodson mixed zone after a performance which explained exactly why City didn’t offer a new contract seems a bit delusional.
I would guarantee Tuesdays game against Villa and Sunday in the Wembley sunshine will be more evidence that it’s the right time to part ways.
We need a replacement that will be on similar wages to him - and the sums don’t add up if we kept him as a charity case.
I think he would be mad not to go to the MLS for a few years, great experience for his kids, good money and an easy league in which he would thrive.Wouldn't be bothered. The state Utd are in, he wouldn't improve them. He would weaken Arsenal.
What about going back to Chelsea?
Tbf they'd be the inly ones mad enoughy to pay his wages to accummulate players for their 200 player squad.
I'm sure he will be, when his contract expiresGundo should be told the same thing has Debruyne
Thankyou for your dedication towards the club but time to move on .
Thanks lovely, i was so gutted that i lost interest in football the day i got gravely ill , been told it is normal to lose interest in things you loved and it could take a year to come back or maybe never, 46yrs as a blue wiped out in a second
This last week i have been reading a bit and it shocks me the disrespect and pure hatred aimed at the players by familiar names , honestly life is so fragile and if you are in a position to love city at games or from afar then enjoy it and dont get so bitter and bent out of shape about a bad season, enjoy whilst you can

The only thing I am amazed is that he's not been offered a big deal to go to NYCFC, incredible if he hasn't.I’m surprised we have not offered him a pay as you play contract or a vastly reduced salary so he could appraise and then decide if it suits him and his family.
I don’t think he warrants a continuation of his 400k deal, no criticism of him just father time catching up with him. But still Pep values his contribution, regularly picks him, over other options, so you do wonder why no offer has been made
I will be surprised if he takes the extra year option .I'm sure he will be, when his contract expires
I'm sorry to hear you've been really unwell. Best wishes for a safe recovery. Thanks lovely, i was so gutted that i lost interest in football the day i got gravely ill , been told it is normal to lose interest in things you loved and it could take a year to come back or maybe never, 46yrs as a blue wiped out in a second

Fuck me this hits hard and I appreciate and feel every word. I fully know it's not the same but when i lost dad now on 5.5 years ago I had a gut check to everything I enjoyed as so much of it was introduced to me by him. Thanks lovely, i was so gutted that i lost interest in football the day i got gravely ill , been told it is normal to lose interest in things you loved and it could take a year to come back or maybe never, 46yrs as a blue wiped out in a second

We dont know if it was discussed if he would take a lower wage or not, at the moment i feel sad he is being booted out after all he has given us, the way it has been done doesnt impress me at allI would be happy if he signed a new contract but not as one of our highest earners.
The odd thing in football is the players ask for more money as they go up levels in skill and contributions on the pitch.
The trouble comes, like now, when that player is a little bit injury prone and not having the smae significant contributions that have graced us for 10 years.
Are we to still pay 400k a week for this version of KDB?
This doesn't just apply to Kev either tbh but any footballer who has peaked and on the downgrade.
The way I see it, if Kev had had the 10 glorious years at say Arsenal, had the same past 2 year slow decline and was now looking for a club, would we be in for him. I don’t think we would at any level of wages.I would be happy if he signed a new contract but not as one of our highest earners.

Poor health puts everything into perspective x
He isn't being booted out though kaz. We've honoured his contract fullyWe dont know if it was discussed if he would take a lower wage or not, at the moment i feel sad he is being booted out after all he has given us, the way it has been done doesnt impress me at all
I get hope from you that i can get back to it and like you say it musn't rule your life and that is actually a really good thing xFuck me this hits hard and I appreciate and feel every word. I fully know it's not the same but when i lost dad now on 5.5 years ago I had a gut check to everything I enjoyed as so much of it was introduced to me by him.
Sport completely lost it's shine, music and playing the guitar (which was 100% his influence) were literally shelved and encased for awhile. I'm finally coming back around to "normal" with the guitar but I'll never be as ruled by sport and angered by a game again.
To be able to revel in your favorite teams wins is a blessing. It means you have to be willing to take the losses gracefully and without spewing hate towards the players and staff.
You only ever find balance and true meaning and transcendence of material and meaningless things when you lose something or someone or are forced to give things up you once took for granted.
Take care Kaz.
Spot on. Thinking with my heart, I'd gladly give him one more year. But age and injuries have sadly taken their toll on the fella. Outstanding performances like against Palace, which were the norm, are now the exception. This past 18 months or so, he's been a pale imitation of the genius we've had the privilege of watching at work. And it's a real pity that the relationship might not be ending on totally harmonious terms. Anyway, I am extremely grateful for what he has brought to our club over the last decade, and I wish him nothing but the best in whatever path he chooses to follow. God speed Kevin, and don't forget about us.The way I see it, if Kev had had the 10 glorious years at say Arsenal, had the same past 2 year slow decline and was now looking for a club, would we be in for him. I don’t think we would at any level of wages.
The conflict here for many is head or heart which is understandable for our greatest ever player. King is dead (sadly) …..
A few fools on the internet projecting their sad lives into hateful comments are irrelevantThe utter disrepect for kev is reminding me why i dont really miss the football side on here . He is really disappointed and surprised to be given the boot , why are people digging him out for saying it
Most of you have never deserved him
We dont know if it was discussed if he would take a lower wage or not, at the moment i feel sad he is being booted out after all he has given us, the way it has been done doesnt impress me at all
Everton fans clapped him off yesterday, which was a nice touch. I'm not sure fans of certain other clubs would do the same.A few fools on the internet projecting their sad lives into hateful comments are irrelevant
The ovation he got against Palace and will get at every remaining game leaves him in no doubt how beloved he is by blues everywhere.
