He was there. In the tunnel in a white tee shirt according to a few people. My basement wasn’t open yesterday I was keeping an eye on the Matchday thread! I’m a glutton for punishment reading that thread…I was convinced we were going to lose from reading that. :-)I heard he was tied up in Eccles Blue’s basement
My postal address has been wrong for years then mate, I have been using Cheshire blissfully unaware, possibly why the post takes so long to get here
The post office actually asked people to keep using Cheshire on their letters in the 70s, when it changed to GM, as it would help them sort the mail.
They work on postcode as you probably know, the old counties are not requiredMy postal address has been wrong for years then mate, I have been using Cheshire blissfully unaware, possibly why the post takes so long to get here
That game made me realise we ‘would’ win the league againIt’s not his most high profile goal but my favourite KDB moment will always be be that left footer he scored at chelsea in Pep’s second season. Chelsea had won the league easily, Pep was being mocked and doubted. It was our first big game of the season and we went to SB and pressed the life out of them, totally bossed the game. I remember saying to my dad “This is the best City performance I’ve ever seen” fairly early on. It was our first proper introduction to the Pep way of playing and we kept missing chances until Kev put that screamer away.
He had run and won a game away against the champions and it represented an introduction to the world of Pep’s City. It marked the beginning of an era.
Postcodes are irrelevant to governance or countries The post office based postcodes on the major sorting centres to balance out the mail long gone are a lot of these centres but postcodes remain M postcode mail would be dropped from mail trains at a Manchester station from there to the Manchester sorting centre before distribution to sub offices for local sortingdoesnt it depend on the postcode? m postcode is manchester, wa is cheshire?
Surprised there was no David Silva on the video tributes, I kept waiting for him to pop up, but nothing. Doesn't mean anything, just an observation. I feel like he was probably the only player missing apart from maybe Kolarov, Clichy, G.Jesus.
Wythenshawe used to be Cheshire too :)
Just watched it on the City website and pretty sure of current players there was no tribute from Kovacic, Walker (i know he's currently not in the squad), Savinho and McAtee, and none of the January intake. The first 2 are surprising, but the others less so i guess.
As to former players, David Silva perhaps most surprising, but also no Yaya, Otamendi, and as you say Clichy, Jesus among others. And Mendy, lol.
And was Pep there?
