the clause in his contract has been reported by all european media sky sports and others...it seems when tevez signed for us we agreed to double his wages if we win the championship and i think there is no relation to games played goal scored as at the moment we had no clue he will go all crazy on us. If he reports for duty and is available for the coach we have nothing to do but pay him.And we are talking about tevez...u really think he gives a shit if he does not play any games as long as he will get payed? the fucker could easily agree to stay with us for 2 more years just to get payed as he does not seem to care all that much about his career.Tevez and his snake of an agent only care about gettin payed and they could achieve that staying with us. i understand and agree with the fustration we all feel but at the end of the day what is better for us to get 20 mils from AC or to pay in 2 years 20-30 mils to a player who does not give a fuck about us? I understand our sheik is rich as fuck but u do not stay rich doing bad business u stay rich doing good business. Plus i think 20 mils is a fair price for a nutcase job that will leave to argentina whenever he feels like it and will get depressed if it rains outside...stop thinking with your heart and think with your heads...we need him gone ASAP fuck it i would not care even if he leaves for free he is insane will not be good in the dressing room to have someone like tevez who will do only what he wants we also have other bad boys and seeing him acting out each day may disrupt the harmony i do not want balo to get ideas in his head

I think we're willing to take a hit on this one and dig in, to prove that we are not to be fucked with. Will stand us in good stead in the future as players and other clubs will think twice about trying to fuck us over.
and fortunately Tevez "is not motivated by money"

mates let's not get carried away...i like the statement too but basically it's our only card i think it's the last one we can play...if 31 arrives and we still have no deal for tevez i think we will accept milan's offer even if it's not what we would want. keep in mind the fine needs to be approved by the FA and if tevez comes back and trains we need to pay him all his wages and that clause about doubling his salary if we win the championship....it's really hurting us.One in all tevez is bad business either way but could mean ten times more trouble if we decide to prove a point and keep him

cool story bro

get the fcukoutta here

A most excellent article by our chairman Khaldoon, especially in replying to certain Italian Football team and management who thought we were going to just lie down and let them and the Tevez circus walk all over us, because as I keep saying unless they come up with an amount of between 25-30 million for him, dont bother contacting us, because we dont want to know.............

"Paris St German and Inter Milan approached discussions with us in good faith and it is always a positive experience to deal with people with such a professional approach."

This particular quote hasn't been highlighted before, but I think (given how business people and diplomats hand out a slating) it is possibly the hardest and biggest slap in the face to Milan. Using some of the old "that ship has sailed" type analogy, Khaldoun's telling the cheeky bastards they are on the Concordia.

Outstanding stuff from the Boss.

Yeah, love that particular statement too....a real slap in AC's face...

Re: Tevez, Inter/PSG/Milan, Khaldoon - All in here please.

Wrong

If he stays it costs 20m in wages. If he goes for free it,s 20m lost in fees. same
Why go to Milan if he doesn,t want to play? It rains there too.
Don't underestimate the intelligence of our other players it,s rude. They can see for themselves whats happening.
You are not a blue imo

Considered and concise, as you would expect from Khaldoon.

However, there is still no way we know how the cards will fall.

Tevez has already proved himself ignorant and obstinate. The fact he has challenged the six week fine tells you that he is still refusing to lie down.

And as the PFA displayed, we can fine as much as we want, but the Premier League could also decide the sums are excessive.

This has always been a game of bluff, the problem is, Milan don't have any money.

So unless Tevez or Milan make a dramatic U-turn, I fear he will be happy to sit in Argentina and take his chances in court at a later date.

City were clearly still paying him up until the appeal before the board on Dec 21st, this does appear retrospective to take into account the six weeks up to the window.

Just want to applaud our chairman for firstly putting our minds at rest by coming out and stating how it is. He has showed that integrity, honesty and business acumen with a rock solid backbone are the ethos of this club.

Milan were galling in their behaviour, Tevez and Kia have no problems with what people think of them, but the the three of these together appearing to force a transfer through was simply a horrible and uncomfortable situation for City. Coupled with the perception that Tevez was sitting in Argentina picking up his wages was reprehensible to all fans of football.

I again applaud you for the stance you are taking it is not only good for City but for football as a whole not that we will get any appreciation for it. However chairmans of the other clubs throughout the world will know that we are not be messed with and if they want to business with us (which they all do), they will have to do it in a suitable and respectable manner.

Well done Chairman and HRH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. You are doing us and Manchester City proud!

FORZA CITY

They do still have Corinthians on speed dial ;-)
