Khaldoon interview

and to think when ADUG first took over we had Dr Suilman ? ( spelling ) as our chairman / spokesperson for the first few months, the difference between him who at times i thought was not to the standard i thought Sheik Mansour expected, Khaldoon is an immense character and so glad he's our chairman

About 48 hours I thought it was, he was swiftly pulled out of the limelight after his embarrassing public statements.

Those statements ended up costing the club a great deal, directly and indirectly, I fear.

It certainly did especially on the continent and I still believe we are still paying for it.

The media lapped it all up at the time and took what he said and dressed it up a bit. Next thing everyone thinks the new owners are arrogant and think they'll just buy everything. The last six years show that couldn't be further from the truth.

Agree but the damage has been done, I sometimes wonder it is only City fans who understand what is actually happening at the club and the rest of the world still believe his stupid statements.

I think a big reason behind that is that people are more inclined to read a headline in the sun/mirror and take it as truth rather than read about what is actually happening and how its going to make sure more than just 'the richest club in the world'

When your a fan you have a look at the inner workings of your club, it's natural. A lot of opposing fans only see and believe the media circus, give or take one or two. Now the media, bodies, organinisations etc they're a different story. Simply because they know exactly what is happening. The very reaction of the british media, UEFA. It's all a counter reaction born out of defence. The picture they paint is deliberately opposite the truth. It's fear.

This football club is a monster. A well drilled, well oiled beast. A moving freight train that is immaculately run. Professional would be underselling us. We are on a journey to the very fucking top and those named above are throwing the toys out good and proper.

What we do in the community, for kids, for the people of east manchester is un fucking heard of.

If I was the opposition, I'd be running scared as well.
