Khaldoon's End Of Season Video Message To The Fans

Enjoyed that. Very honest and forthright, and pretty damning about last season. Fair play to Chris Bailey too for not beating around the bush with his questions.

Yeah it was pleasing to see Bailey doing the interview rather than the Irish girl who's name escapes me as she doesn't really ask any hard hitting questions usually. Interesting how he ducked that last question about how hard was it to get Pep, I suspect the answer was 'very'.

No problem with him ducking the question, if he answered it honestly it would only give ammunition to our good friends in the media salivating at the prospect of using the word "snub".

well as usual he handled it in a professional manner, but he evidently hung Pelle out to dry on the FA Cup and the decline in the league, as well as the performance in the league.

Also interesting that he put it out there that Sheikh Mansour is expecting a different level of results and performance, so I hope the fans expectations align with that and now its clear that the much mentioned management team have to get this right now, because there was a little sense of them being a bit fed up with how the last 2 years has gone and he could barely hide that, and so now it has to be right and they won't accept than 100% every game.

Here's how the Mail are reporting it...

Pep Guardiola will transform Manchester City to a new level... he's one of the best, believes chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak....

As always the comments are a joke....

"keeping them above stockport will help pep and their fourth biggest club in the north west status intact"

"comedy gold!....Really cant wait to see Peps bald head sweating as City get dumped on from all angles!....Manchester is and forever will be RED."

i hope he's gonna apologize for only landing the second best manager in the wor
Also it made me feel warm inside when he said Pep will surprise everyone with his knowledge of MCFC and its history. Sounds like Pep has been swatting up on us since 2012 :)

Me too.

That'll piss off the German rags as well.

So his first press conference will be a battle of wits with @Gary James?

:)
