kick off times

my point was really about everybody kicking off at the same time and if sky said everybody kicks off at 5.00pm Saturday or sunday I would go for that

the time of kick off is a big advantage for teams knowing what is needed and if you play the late kick off knowing what happen already the pressure is off or it could go the other way and the pressure is pumped up and get to the players

I don't know how the stats stand up to it but I bet its better for the top clubs
(so called top 4) and we all know what happen to united when on the final day all the teams kicked off at the same time man city nicked it off them

I would say if united had the late or early kick off on that day they would have won 10.0 to pump up the goal differents

They just wouldn't do that though. It's not in their interests. As long as Sky run the game then it won't happen. It didn't happen on terrestrial tv either but there just weren't as many televised matches then.

Try travelling from overseas. Flight schedules mean the only games I can get over to see are saturday ones (kick off time not really an issue, as long as it's saturday). Sundays mean missing a day off work, and it's already expensive enough as it is. Matches during the week (mon-fri)? Forget it; that's two days off work.

Support your local team then ;)

Much prefer Saturday 3oclocks and Tuesday 19:45 KO's

Wasn't it 730 midweek back when ?

It sure was but sadly TV rules the roost now. I do think though that KO was moved to 7.45 to allow people to get to games after work, could be wrong.
Yes 7-30 kick off on Wednesday night's also half day closing, also over the Easter period we always played Good Friday,Saturday and Easter Monday.

I think it would annoy me if all games kicked off at the same time. Obviously watching city is my priority but I enjoy the fact I can watch the other games live on tv the rest of the weekend. If every game kicked off at 3pm on Saturday this weekend I would miss Liverpool v Chelsea which has the potential to be a great match!

I know it sounds like a dick head comment but surely every team should gonout and try and get three points even if someone else has or not

should all games in the premier league all kick off the same time on Saturday or sunday I feel it gives time to the team playing the late kick off advantage knowing what they need to do

sky do it only on the last day of the season but why not just have everybody kicking off at 3.00pm they can still pick what game they are showing but show at 3.00pm with the rest of the games it would not change the crowds going to the games

sky do cook up the fixtures with there kick off times and it does give you
advantage knowing whats been played or you have the late kick off knowing just what needed

give us back our football on Saturday or sunday please

I have always thought that the team that play last are at a disadvantage.
