Is there a 'delete drafts' option anywhere? because they are a pain in the fucking arse.

^^^yep, that's right.

Oh, and for the love of God will someone please tell me how to reply to a post that was a reply to another post, and keep all the replies showing.

You have to click "Quote" on each and every post you want to quote then click on "insert quotes" in the post box at the bottom. The upside of this is that it stops people re-quoting posts with lots of quotes in them. Swings and roundabouts.

Aaaaahhhhhhh, right. Cheers.

This is a huge upside for me, as it made certain threads quite tedious to read.

Yeah, I think it's better now (although I'm bound to say that).

I used to find it annoying scrolling through a huge quoted post, only for the person quoting it to say "This ^".

I don't know what it is but the board is very slow at loading this morning
And there's hardly anyone on it

The issue looks like its on the ads servers.

have to admit I've stuck adblock on for now as pages just wont load at times despite several refreshes.

As soon as I see its been sorted I will take it back off promise.

Sorry about this, there's an issue with a certain ad. Should hopefully have it resolved asap.

@Ric as you know I've complained about this a few times elsewhere, a number of ads do this occasionally (The Coral CL one last week). Is there no way the ad company can be moderated to prevent these "take the piss" adverts ? It is what drives people to use adblock (see blueinsa's post).

We all want to support the site, but at times some of the ads slow it down far too much, we're not all on super fast broadband, at home mine is certainly not super fast, and at work it is in fact more like super slow, so the fancy video type ads just grind things to a halt, and the Coral CL one last week was the worst I've noticed.

In fact there's a new Coral one about the Copa America that is causing slowness tonight.

@cleavers The problem yesterday turned out to be that an entire ad network had gone down, so loads of sites serving their ads suffered. You can't really legislate for something like that.

I have, however, asked the ad company if the adverts can be served asynchronously. That would mean the page loads even if there are any issues with the ads.
