Which app are you in?I know it's probably been asked before, but can't find it, but is there a "search" facility on the movies section?
Which app are you in?
Would you recommend the Amazon Fire TV 4K box over another Android box?Amazon fire TV 4k is definitely an upgrade to the firestick mate so yes I'd recommend that
Sprout is right, you can install Kodi and keep regular apps such as iPlayer, ITV player and 4OD :)
Click on movies, then scroll to the bottom and there is a search feature there mate :)The Bluemoon Build on a Kodi TV Box...not too IT literate, so hope that's the right answer!!!
Depends which one ;)Would you recommend the Amazon Fire TV 4K box over another Android box?
Bearing in mind that I've only ever had your traditional sky or BT box, that I'm only really interested in watching sports, movies and BBC/ITV and that I'm nowhere near as IT literate as gurus like you. Which would you recommend?Depends which one ;)
The main three I recommend are the fire TV 4k, Nexus media player and the shield TV (only if you're rich though!) :)

If you don't want to be put on the spot like that, are there simple pros and cons for the three?
Perfect, thanks for the advice. I've tried Kodi on my phone before and a mate has got a firestick with it on, so I've seen it in use, I was just unsure about setting it all up, but your video seems easy enough to follow. I'm binning off BT this summer so think I'll go for an android box now I'm feeling a bit more confident. Thanks again.Hey mate,
Yeah you don't really need to be that tech literate to be honest to use Kodi; I will say one thing, you won't get the same reliability from Kodi addons as you will with official cable or satellite TV; I'd recommend trying it on your laptop just to see what you think
To be honest the shield TV is massively overkill if you'll just be watching BBC, ITV and sport; the shield TV is really for what I'd class as a power user
The Nexus media player is fantastic for easy installation, the fire TV is also a great box; it's difficult to pick between the two to be honest bud. A lot of bluemooners here seem to use the fire TV so you might get better support with that box :)
You're welcome mate, any problems or issues just post in this thread and myself or somebody else will likely help you :)Perfect, thanks for the advice.
