Koeman to Everton

Haha, that quote is so typical Ronald Koeman.

Still think Everton got themselves a very good manager (and assistent-manager for that matter, the much more likeable and down to earth brother of his, Erwin)). I think the expectations at Everton are bigger than at Southampton.
Koeman seems to be one of those managers that is better doing well with limited funds. However he will like to spent a few bob. I gather he wants to bring in a few Saints-players.

With Pep it'll be interesting to see us play the other teams in the NW and their highly rated managers in Klopp and Koeman.

A bit harsh that you didn't mention the manager of our near neighbours as well........

I think Sean Dyche is doing a great job over at Turf Moor!

We are talking HIGHLY RATED managers now do we.
Sorry not to have mentioned Sean Dyche. Forgot them going up again.

Just glad it's all done and dusted.
Still the King is dead, long live the King and all that!
WE MARCH ON!

Took the words out of my mouth. I can't see this any way other than it being a step down. Southampton will replace him well though, maybe De Boer?

It will be interesting to see who the Saints appoint, and whether the transition will be as successful as their last few change in management. It's quite strange really - every time they lose a manager, it appears to refresh the club rather than impair it.

Saints have a style and appoint a manager and sign players who fit that style. This obviously make any transition period easier. Hopefully they'll do the same again.
No disrespect but, the big clubs like United, Chelsea and City (though may be not so much) just seem to get the big names at the time.
