He does have a good cross on him, about one in five, it's just a shame he twats the other four in at about 95 mph hoping for the best.
I do actually like him offensively, defensively suspect though, which is ok against sides like Blackburn at home but against top class wingers he will get found out.

Depends on the opposition. Same goes for when to play Aguero or Dzeko or Mario or in midfield whether to play Barry, De Jong, Milner etc. Mancini will always pick the team that he feels is best against the opposition for that day. In my opinion Kolarov should start the games like yesterdays where the opposition is much weaker than us and will sit back. Kolarov's superior attacking ability means we can break them down easier with him. However, Clichy is much more solid defensively and quicker. As such he will and rightly so will start the majority of the big games against teams that will get stuck into us like Chelsea & Liverpool.

at the start of the season I really couldnt see what mancini saw in kolarov whatsoever. his performances were woeful at best and he never seemed to track back after attacking. I always seemed to think he was only getting game time in order to justify his transfer fee.
Fortunately I can now see what mancini sees in him as he can be a real weapon at times.... he's probably most improved player of the season.
as has been said already he is often key to breaking down stubborn opposition ie teams parking the bus like yesterday and some of his low crosses could take a deflection from anyone and go in, which then opens the game massively
