Kolarov take a bow.

It's always interesting to read BM after a game and, for myself, I always come to the same conclusion:

Should I trust Mancini or should I trust the judgement of the world class football minds that whinge and moan on here ? Amazingly, I always end up going with Roberto.

For myself, I think that Kolarov offers something useful to us. But that doesn't matter 'cos as long as mancini thinks he offers soemthing, we will keep him regaurdless of what all the boo boys on here think.

Hahaha A good old fashioned solid gold happy clapping tub-thumper.

How do you think Mancini fared against Klopp last night in the battle of the "world class football minds"?

It's clear you're not Massimo Moratti.

He is being appreciated for his work rate and desire, basically his willingness to foul at any given opportunity.

I thought we went backwards when he came on, fair enough the system changed but being good at dead ball situations doesnt mean he is any good at anything else, and in my opinion he is a very average footballer.

kicking a ball from a dead ball situation makes you great at kicking a ball not and not a great footballer
Backwards when he came on? We had spent the previous 12 minutes passing it between the back 4 and passing it to their player to score.

I know who I would back - the guy that brought us an Fa Cup and then the Premier League in his first two full seasons.

Dave, the only think that Mancini was missing last night was your razor sharp input and perfect analysis. With that input from you we would win the CL at our first attempt. I'm amazed that the footballing world isn't knocking down your door offering you millions and a five year contract and begging for your expert input.

To be fair, I doubt Mancini told Yaya to go out and have his worst ever game for City, giving the ball away just about every time he received through lack of determination and general "giving a fuck". Nor would he have told Dzeko to be as strong as a kitten or Kompany to have his head up his arse and try and get squared up at every available opportunity.

I'm sure he didn't. But he picked Ya Ya in a holding role, where he generally plays like that. And the fact that Kompany's confidence is destroyed could have something to do with the fact that he's played in 23 different systems alongside 19 defensive personnel formations, behind every wrong midfield combination it is possible to have. We've only dominated midfield once all season, it's no wonder our defenders's heads are down.

Bottom line is that Klopp proved beyond doubt he's a better manager. He has a team playing as a team in a system which they know and works. We have a manager flailing about like a fucking loon every week trying to keep pace with the game. It's highlighted in Europe because we play better teams, but it's been there all season.

I really wonder why you arent a football manager. The way you go about it everytime, one would expect your team to do the quadruple every season.

Hahahaha Second time in the thread for the age old "well why arent you manager"? line.

First port of call for clowns who know fuck all about the game and are out of their depth in a football conversation.
