In Ice hockey they produce a stat know as +/-. It shows the amount of points (asists or goals) a player has scored compared with the amoutn of goals conceded while the player is on the pitch. So a player with anything about +1 is condsidered to be having a good season.
Now with Kolorov he delivers some factastic balls into the box and is always a danger at free kicks. If i was defending against him id probably identify his lack of real pace and that his one trick is it lift his right leg in the air and do a running Cruyf turn inside with the left foot and probably close him down.
Unfortunatly for young Aleks he cant defend, this aspect of the game, the great art of football, is unfortunatly completly beyond him.
Exhibit A: Villa's 4th goal

watch how Aleks watches Nastasic close the ball down three times before gracefulyl allowing Agbonlahor to breeze past him almost untouched.
I make the +/- comparison because where Kolarov tends to score, it is usually balenced out with some horrific defending. Eg v UTD in FA Cup, scores one but is directly at fault for two. v Sunderland (3-3) scores one but is directly at fault for two. v Villa Scores one and is prety culprable for one.
