the first 1 is pretty much the exact same thing, just restricting the ams to one side instead of giving them freedom like the formation it made to give

the second is actually more of a 4-3-3( 3 midfielders 2 wingers 1 striker) that's more like what barca play with iniesta in cam but cdms are cm instead

and the 3rd is a formation that would never be used unless cf changed to cam which would then make it like the 2nd but a man playing more inside

basically youre wrong, you know shit about football and your stupidity is actually embarrassing to our club which I personally hope you do not support as your football knowledge is disgraceful.

where the players start at the beginning of the game is not important. it is their roles, duties and what part of the pitch they cover, this determines the actual formation used.

please get an education before you tell other's they are wrong.

obviously its about there roles and 1 thing for sure is our players roles weren't the roles of a 4-4-2 formation.

bit rich for someone who believes every formation is either 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 to tell me to get an education, their sunday league tactics and top teams vary their formations to things like 4-2-3-1 as its good for passing. how many foreign teams in leagues like spain or Italy play 4-4-2? its a typical English formation and is completely shit, get into the 21st century the game has changed once foreign managers started taking over, and the reason that they have found it so easy to take over is that there are very few good English managers and far too many playing the traditional 4-4-2 which we in your very shallow mind we play. probably because there the only 3 numbers you work out adds to 10. learn about football then try tell me to get some education

Tell me City fans where doe's Kola play in all this

this is coming from a man who thinks the 4-4-2 always has to have a flat midfield . hahahaha.

So we are not actually playing a 4-4-2? The bobbing and weaving is confusing.

like last season, we will play the 4-4-2 , there's no doubt about it.

we'll play the 4-5-1 or maybe even the 4-3-3 on some occasions.

some of you simpletons think the 4-4-2 always looks like this:

hahahaha, it makes me laugh.

Assuming Kolarov and Sinclair out, still think we need cover for CB, LB and LW. It would be good, imo, if we could find 2 players 2 satisfy these 3 positions. Meaning either a CB+LB plus a left winger, or a CB and LB+LW (a coentrao type)

A more realistic deal for the club even though we will take a hit on the transfer fee.

Galatasaray and Juventus wage war for Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov

GALATASARAY have made a £4million bid for Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.

By Paul Hetherington/Published 28th July 2013

Aleksandar Kolarov, Galatasaray, JuventusLeft-back Kolarov is hot property as Galatasary and Juventus battle it out

The Serb defender, 27, is also wanted by Juventus, who offered £1.5m as a loan fee to borrow City’s £100k-a-week man for the coming season.

But the Blues have told Turkish giants Galatasaray and the Italian champions that they want £6m for Kolarov, though a compromise figure of around £5m could clinch a deal for the dead-ball specialist, who is second to Gael Clichy at the Etihad.

City are also set to step up their interest in Real Madrid’s Pepe, 30, as revealed in the Daily Star Sunday last week.
