I don't think Kolo wants to leave , he likes it here ..... he's a more than useful squad player to have around.
Me neither. Fair play to him.He still has something of the keystone cops about him though, but I think that is more perception than reality. Maybe the club can look at a twelve month extension, especially if Lescott is out the door?Didsbury Dave said:Well done to kolo on a magnificent season when called on. Yeah, keystone cops is the perfect comparison. But this season he keeps getting his man.i wouldn't extend him because for the clubs momentum I think another world class centre half signing would be the thing to do. But I don't write the cheques.gordondaviesmoustache said:Me neither. Fair play to him.He still has something of the keystone cops about him though, but I think that is more perception than reality. Of course the manager can take credit for individual player improvement. Obviously the flip side of that is he bears some responsibility for players who regress.Marvin said:Shows you what a run of games can do
And also a bit of luck. Demba Ba beat him on his way to the penalty last week, and tonight he made a mistake that could have been crucial.
I'd like to think Mancini has seen enough in Kolo's recent performances to offer him a contract extension. I'm sure Kolo knows that Kompany will start when fit, but he also knows that he will get games during the course of the season so I think something will get worked out
Also shows you what a good manager can do. Remember that Clichy and Kolo were at Arsenal and their defensive play wasn't great. These two have improved under Mancini as has Richards.
City apparently do an awful lot of work on the positioning of defenders off the ball and it shows as City's defence is the best in the League. This is not just down to the players, but the manager. Do you agree DD?!! Be honest

I don't know if your joking but either way that comment was laughable

Garcia played well tonight. Just about our best midfielder. Of course you probably obsessed with pace - which is not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th major asset of a good DM.
