Kolo Shout Out

If he keeps up this kind of form then he more than deserves a new contract. The problem may come with us probably wanting him to take a pay-cut and him having a big offer from somewhere in Turkey or wherever and probably taking that as opposed to playing back-up for us when Kompany is back.
 
Give him another year on 40k a week or something. If someone else beats that then thanks and good luck.

His athleticism and pace is underrated because of his age.

But it is in the toure gene - strong, athletic and very very intelligent footballers.
 
Some of his clearances were fucking woeful. Five yard pass on, nobody near him, and he smashed it sixty yards up field and we lost possession - he did that three times.

Other than that he was excellent again.
 
its ok saying give him a new contract......the power is in his hands.....at his age im sure he will just want to play.....at city we cant guarantee that....he could probably get more money and a regular spot elsewhere!!

saying that he is worth another years contract
 
Man of the Match performance from Kolo, but he isn't worth another deal as he will want regular first team place.

Hes a defender that's what hes meant to do! Nasri is the problem when it comes to giving the ball away as he is meant to be great at finding passes! Look how many times a game Vinnie goes long.
 
we'll let him go for nothing and spend 10 million on a replacement who isn't as good.

I agree that we need to sign Kolo up again.

However, I doubt he will settle for one year deal based on his current form and I doubt City will go for 2 years.

Given Vinny's injury record, Kolo would still get a decent amount of games in.
