The bloke managing him is an utter idiot. Kompany can't play every game, because he has a dodgy calf. Can you get that into your thick, useless skull? Yes?

He will continue injuring his calf throughout his career and every time he does it its 6-8 weeks on the injury table.
He can't even put any pressure on it any more before its pulled/torn.
Only good for 15-20 games a season now if that and it won't change,
Been a stalwart of the club but we need fit players who can stand up to the rigours of the game and VK has gone past that well and truly.

Suppose we are lucky he isn't a horse some on here would have had him shot...
We need to start planning without him , he's become our Ledley King, world class on his day but his days are few and far between
Keep him in the squad next year to give him the chance but we must define what our first choice pairing will be next year , unfortunately he won't be part of it

These injury problems have gone on for too long regarding Kompany now.
This will seriously affect the team's league position this year (and may have done so in previous year's too), Vincent Kompany has been that good for us.
I'm truly sorry for him, but I'm afraid MCFC is not a retirement home or a health charity, run for Vincent's benefit, it's now time for him to be sold on and become someone else's problem, MCFC simply can't rely on him to be around long enough to benefit the team now, regardless of what he has done for us in the past.

We'll be soft idiots if we keep him for sentimental reasons. The writing's on the wall, his career's petering out. Better sell now when we can actually get some money for him. Sometimes you have to be ruthless, or we'll end up with a situation similar to the rug head at the swamp.
