TBH, the blame lies with Pellegrini.

Training, set pieces or not, one day before the match, City shouldn't be doing those high impact of training sessions. A light training session, and an overview of the tactics is enough.

If he's only 50% fit tomorrow we should just give him a cortisone injection and get him out there. This game is the most important the other games we could probably get by without him but against Liverpool's attack we need him badly.
