Kompany red card and appeal SUCCESSFUL

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

David Gill has obviously stepped in. No point in banning Vincent at a time when we don't play United. Could be another red card coming soon though.

I see commonsense has prevailed for once. To be honest, I didn't think it would get rescinded despite it being a ridiculous decision to send him off!
It's not 'for once' though, is it?

Pablo's was overturned in the same fixture two seasons ago. Of course there are people, powerful people, who want to see us fail, but perhaps we should all remember moments such as this when trying to claim the whole World is against us.

Much of it is, but there are many who can see which way the wind is blowing too.

This is a joke.

It was a bloody identical challenge to the one against the rags at last years FA Cup, and they refused to overturn that one!

I don't think we appealed that one though. He got 4 games instead of 3 as it was his second red of the season. I seem to remember us saying we didn't want to risk a 5 game ban so we dropped it

We did appeal that one too, he got 4 games as it was not considered as frivolous appeal

wow , wonders never cease

justice is done

Wow. Rescinded.

Ha, red card expunged. Told you. And fuck off Irani, you cretinous wonder

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

No doubt some big names defending Vinnie on Twitter encouraged FA's decision.

Justice!

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

See the Mail are having to back track - I suppose they will lead the press enquiry into the overturn. Maybe things are starting to turn for us.

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

wow i stand corrected. I wasn't expecting that especially with the opinion that it divided...great news!

AgendaMad is a good default option. Stay around for a bit longer, listen to a little more of the Rag Meedya and the RagRedTops and yer can be a fully paid up member of the Conspiracy/Agenda/Paranoia MCFC Supporters' Club!

It's gonna take me most of the evening to come to terms with this outbreak of sanity and common sense at FArce HQ. Has His Holiness Sir MIchael Dean come clean and realised the error of his whistling?

Re: Kompany red card and appeal

I thought we would be able to trust Mike Dean on his. Most of the others, no chance.
Great news.
