Kompany red card merged threads

Did anyone else notice what seemed to be an obscene gesture of the left hand from Kompany just before he kicked the stadium wall?

Didn't see it but I imagine it was similar to what that classless clown, Szcesny, did againt Bayern when he was rightly sent-off.

Waste of time appealing it. Yes it was a clear foul on Vinny, and we know if the ref had blown for the foul, the sending off wouldn't have happened. However, they will treat them as separate instances, and when you look at it like that, there can be no argument that it wasn't a red card offence.

Nailed on red card as its a City player.

**** couldnt wait to get his card out and give Vinny his marching orders.

Tackle on merlin anyone?

Put your house on it had that been a City player making that tackle, we would have been down to fucking 9!

It's a foul by jelavic. So obvious! Ref made a mistake and it should be rescinded.

No point appealing as there is no reason for it to be overturned. What happened before the challenge has no bearing on whether the red is correct or not. Unfortunately it is a correct decision

One of the crowd asked him what he thinks of Arsenal, he merely replied with a gesture.
Can't see the problem myself, not as if he was lying or something.

He's not helped himself or us with his reaction when getting the red. Of course it was a foul the other way but as a separate incident he also committed a foul. It should be noted that little bald pygmy couldn't wait to red him.

I'm a big Kompany fan he was obviously really annoyed hence his actions leaving the pitch but to post stuff on the web afterwards is just stupid and and runs the risk of making it worse. He always comes across as classy but not post match I'm afraid.

Lets hope he hasn't injured himself when he hoofed that wall. I called Dzeko a daft **** for doing the same thing and so is Komps.

He clearly doesn't gesture at the crowd or at anyone, so if it's offensive or not isn't really relevant imo. Just looks frustrated with the referee and himself. Clearly fouled, but then after the ref doesn't give it, it's a clear red. 1 game ban and move on I guess, just lucky it hasn't cost us

Kompany posted this: <a class="postlink" href="http://instagram.com/p/lkVks1pKxX/#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://instagram.com/p/lkVks1pKxX/#</a>

He does write "Not saying it is or it isn't a sending off. Here's for you to judge", the footage clearly shows Jelavic fouled first, we might actually win an appeal.

Is that even Kompany's account? this is very dodgy ground for players to tread and the FA will be keen to punish as he's a City player

Wouldn't surprise me. Stupid of him to put that on.
Why? He says he is not saying anything and it is up to the viewer to judge.

Why? He doesn't offer his opinion on the decision and just re-posts the video of the incident, if the FA have faith in the decision of their referee then all they'll see the post as is a reinforcement of the fact Mason made the correct call (from their viewpoint)
My feelings too.
As ever, we are one.
