Kompany red card merged threads

Defo foul on vinnie but when its not given its a really silly foul on jelavic not needed put the rest of the team under alot of pressure his decsion making needs improving if demichellis would have done what he did he'd be getting teared a new one. Still the best center half in world football for me tho!

Vinnie's rugby style tackle on the Hull player warranted his sending off. However, ref Mason neglected to whistle of the prior foul on Vinnie. Therefore, if the first foul had not happened, then Vinnie would have cleared the ball easily.

He got studded in the calf lost his head and made a rash decision in temper. It was a foul in the first place but next time Vin please just ooff it away...

Whether he is fouled or not first by the Hull player, he fouls the guy and it's a clear red card. What was odd was his decision making when he gets the ball. He could have passed it quickly back to the City player on his right who was in space or he could have just launched it forward, away from danger. I don't know why he thought it would be a good idea to turn back, into danger & head back to our goal (with his back to the play) when he must have known there would be a Hull player on his back very shortly. A combination of rather poor decisions unfortunately.

Wasn't it a similar story at Wembley? Launch it up into the Club Wembley seats and the danger is nullified. But he tried to be clever and ''outfootball'' Borini, got robbed and bang. Sometimes Vinnie, less (as in ''less fucking about'') can be more.

Would have hoped he learnt his lesson away to West Brom last season when his attempt to use skill past a player when under no pressure on the ball saw Milner get sent off

It's going to happen occasionally with vinny because he's such a rolls Royce of a player who has the confidence to play his way out of trouble . If he starts whacking every 50-50 in row Z he becomes Richard Dunne. It was a bad bad decision to let the ball come across him like that and so was pulling the guys shirt, but he's got more than enough credit in the bank. We move on and so does vinny. Thank fuck he only misses one home game.
