Having said that, I've never heard of a calf muscle ending a players career before unless someone can enlighten me?

But I'm 100% certain Vinnie will be doing anything and everything to get back.

I remember when Nicky Weaver got a surgical implant for his knee? I think they took cartilage out of a dead persons knee and implanted it into Weavers knee?? Any change doing that for Vinnie but with a calf muscle?

I really didn't want to be cynical but here goes. An operation to clear up the scar tissue & debris is probably one of the options but that would mean missing the Euros for Belgium so is he hanging on in the hope rest will get him to the summer.

Like everyone else I'd dearly love a fit Vinny back in the side but the longer this goes on I fear the worse.
