Levy would rather pay an unhappy and unwanted players wages for a season than sell on the cheap.
Suspect we'll fold and pay what they want. You can see why clubs try it on with us. We have that reputation and that'll stay the same until we walk away from a few big deals.

Things were nearly done today, big progress and then Levy literally moved the goalposts a couple of hours ago demanding a lot, lot more.

It make sense to go for a player they want to keep rather than dont want.
I'd tell him to fuck off and keep an unhappy player on his books who doesn't get along with the manager, his value will only depreciate.
Time for City to take control, go and buy a full back from Europe.
If they relationship has broken down with Walker, Levy will not care if Walker is unhappy. Walker will be dead to Levy. He will fuck City around as much as he can and get what he can. The reality is that Spurs or indeed any top half club don't need the money.
