A few seem to think that. Only moved to the Prem from Derry City when he was 23 or so, that's probably why.
 
Walker never really caught my eye like Rose for instance. I hope he plays well here. I wonder how well he does in quick pass combinations...that will make or break him imo.

One thing's for sure, with Walker at right back, our right-winger, be it Sterling, Sané or whoever, can expect to get in far more goal-scoring positions. They'll be able to make more out-to-in runs and get in the box.
 
Real Madrid bought Modric for £40m and now we will pay 40 for Walker.

I would rather see Fernandinho and Maffeo cover this position instead and add the 40 to the budget to buy exceptional player " Mbappe"
 
City aren't daft. They will walk away if they see an inflation in price because "Chelsea are interested".

Like us lot, City know that Spuds won't sell to Chelsea - so it's all nonsense to be honest. It won't even be a factor in to any real negotiations between the clubs. This is a multi-million pound deal, not a game. I don't expect "Chelsea's interest" to be a bargaining tool. If Walker wants out, we will get him at a decent price.

Same Sh*t - different window.

we do not need a rb from the PL and at the prices being bandied around every rb is available , but my problem is for the last 2 years he has played under a very hard task master playing in a very dirty team , he might be only 26 but those injuries will follow him

and then moan when we get gashed all season at full back and our centre halves look shite as a result.

Those two are fine back ups. We wont win the champions league or title with them as starters every week. We could with Walker.
