Glad it's getting done.
Gotta be honest when we were first linked with him I thought he's worth nowhere near £50m, but now seeing the prices that being paid for players, looks about the going rate.
Don't really care about the fee, it's not like we're blowing £100m on Lukaku : )
Exciting times again.
 
Does anybody else die a little inside, hearing grown men, moan about a transfer fee that they have zero to do with
 
Don't know if this clip has been posted already, but watch up to 4 minutes. Considering I've heard some think the lad is just pace and wouldn't be able to come inside and play, I'm impressed. The way he switches play in particular is very good; it's something Guardiola will love if ever we get pressed ridiculously high.

Walker is not the best player in the league. Sanchez is. There is a difference between a player whom the club want to sell and the best player in the league whom the club would be happy to see his contract out.
 
Got to laugh at the SSN ticker reporting. "City agree a fee in excess of £50m for Kyle Walker" followed by a piece on the most expensive defenders.

Yet earlier this week the ticker for the Lukaka signing was "United sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton on a five year deal" followed by a quote from Lukaku along the lines of, when Jose Mourinho and United come calling it's a once in a lifetime chance which I couldn't turn down" It's not even subtle.
 
Excellent signing IMO.

Best fullback in the country, fast as fuck, strong as fuck, overlaps to fuck.

What I really like though is he's a fucking 100%er, hates not winning, and has more than a touch of the **** about him. He's one of those opposition players you cannot help but fucking detest, because he has all those 'winning' attributes you want in your own players.

We've needed a proper little **** in the team for a long time now.

Now for Mr Mendy.

We needed home grown plus he is proven in the premiership, I don't see what there isn't to like. Premiership proven provides less risk sometimes but for me it's the overall package.
