They have to.The fact they even have to publish this tells you everything..
Effectively saying mildly to Mbappé to keep his ego in check.
He'd be quite brilliant at City , alas, can't see it happening at all.I can’t even imagine how good he’d be in this City team. We’ll never see him in a City shirt, but I can dream.
I would hate to have a player that says that kind of thing and the club has to tip toe around him because he is a star player,he is too young to be a primadonna,he hasn't proved anything yet
Well, this will be behind closed doors. The public statement is normal because PSG has planned their marketing strategy with Neymar and Mbappé as figureheads. Exactly like Real used to do when Perez needed a new Galactico for his Real brand. PSG is in Ligue 1, they need to outgrow the league mediatically. City doesn't need to do anything else than playing good football in PL to attract.Choosing to do so, if this really is the case, by going through the media shows extremely poor authority and leadership, a rather pathetic attempt of showing who's boss.
Can't be avery solid foundation to build a good and mutually respectful understanding on.
Benny has won the world cup..Nah, he's not won a World Cup or scored in a World Cup final. Not proven at all.
