Kylian Mbappé | Real Madrid Player (pg620)

The fact they even have to publish this tells you everything..
They have to.
One of your major player (one of the two superstars) is making such a speech and causing ruckus in the press.
If the club says nothing, they'll appear weak. The message is not well written but the content is good enough. Reaffirming next year, our 50 year anniversary, is very important for us and for Mbappé and a little dig to the player with the last part when they add that every player will have to play his part with the collective in mind. Effectively saying mildly to Mbappé to keep his ego in check.

Neymar and Mbappé are sensitive issues and you can see Real Madrid even published their "comunicado oficial" last year as soon as some rumors were going on in the press.

Choosing to do so, if this really is the case, by going through the media shows extremely poor authority and leadership, a rather pathetic attempt of showing who's boss.
Can't be avery solid foundation to build a good and mutually respectful understanding on.

I would hate to have a player that says that kind of thing and the club has to tip toe around him because he is a star player,he is too young to be a primadonna,he hasn't proved anything yet

Nah, he's not won a World Cup or scored in a World Cup final. Not proven at all.

Well, this will be behind closed doors. The public statement is normal because PSG has planned their marketing strategy with Neymar and Mbappé as figureheads. Exactly like Real used to do when Perez needed a new Galactico for his Real brand. PSG is in Ligue 1, they need to outgrow the league mediatically. City doesn't need to do anything else than playing good football in PL to attract.
The owner (Emir of Qatar) will be in Paris soon. He had already planned to come to attend certain events like Roland Garros.

Big cases like Neymar and Mbappé are always decided by people in Doha.

Benny has won the world cup..
He opted to stay in a tin pot league where he can rack up his medals without testing himself so no he hasn't proven himself, over a 10 mth ultra competitive league and 4 competitions is proving yourself imo
