Kylian Mbappé | Real Madrid Player (pg620)

Yep, his top performances at the world cup for the last 8 years has all been down to cash.

We're not talking about the World Cup (and it hasn't been 8 years btw). You're suggesting his attitude is brilliant because he's back with PSG. I'm saying, he's there to pick up his pre-Christmas bonus. You don't play in Ligue 1 with his talent, at his age, unless you love the cash. He turned down Real Madrid for cash. His attitude is clear when you watch his off the ball "work". He was moved centrally by Deschamps so they could actually defend the left side, because he was standing still. He is undoubtedly a brilliant offensive player, but he could be so much more than that if he worked harder. Turning up at training is not a sign of him being a model professional.

Good lord.

Really testing his ability playing in Lique 1 then
Maybe he's just a french man who would rather play in his country. Its admirable when an English, Italian or Spanish player does it, so why is it different with him? He has shown over and over again that he can do it on the biggest stage (worldcup, ucl) and at this point anyone doubting his ability has to be blind or dumb. Perhaps maybe, just maybe playing at the top league in his country is his preference.

In what way is playing in the weakest league in Europe admirable?

It became his preference when they offered him ridiciulous fees and the French president got involved. He was running his contract down and shafting them for a free transfer before that.

He has shown he can join up to a national super team and win a world cup. He has done nothing in the CL.
