The added flexibility would allow us to swap the front 3s positions around during a game which would be terrifying for defenders. At the moment, an opposition CB knows that Kun's in the line up then he has to deal with Kun (which admittedly, isn't easy). If our front 3 was Jesus, Mbappe and Alexis, he doesn't know which one he'll be up against at any point in the match.

How often does that really happen where player just constantly swap roles? Sounds really good but in reality if Jesus is playing up top then he'll probably stay up top. Also mbappe is 18 and coming from a different league, I would never cast aguero aside for potential. Maybe sell aguero next summer when he's 30ish and we have a better idea of how mbappe is progressing.

He will go to RM, that's where he allegedly wants to go and it would make more sense as far as he is concerned with Madrid unloading Morata. I would like to see him at City competing with Jesus and Sergio but its not going to happen...!

Personally I do. The likes of Sam Lee and Martin Blackburn, who are well connected to the club and on the US tour, are reporting our interest. Guardiola did nothing to play it down at yesterday's press conference either.

Ornstein isn't known for his links to the club, think he's an Arsenal correspondent mainly?
 
I am just worried about that bloke daughter who is getting her season ticket burnt if we don't buy him.

Sounds reasonable thinking. Perhaps we chill down a level and wait and see what the more City friendly media have to say.

Ornstein's tweet does say have no intention of bidding at the price quoted - not that we have no interest.

Stop being so negative. Have a bit of faith. We we are serious and are not playing games in this window. Pep knows what he needs to progress and win big titles. I truly believe there's truth in this deal on our side defiantly. I reckon and I'm being told Mbappe is our main attacking target and Sanchez is our plan b which I've said all along, We will get one of them for sure and if I had a choice it would be Mbappe. Only way we will get Sanchez is if we don't sign Mbappe. I actually think Mbappe wants to come to us. He's already spoke to pep and told him that. it's a matter of time before he comes. He doesn't want to live in Ronaldo's shadow at Madrid he won't for fill his potential there and he knows it.. He's coming to the premier league to test himself and learn from the best manager in the world, he's close with Mendy follows half our team on Instagram I'm confident about signing Mbappe I got faith in pep.

Is this not all part of our tactics to drive Sanchez through?

Monaco can't sell their entire team, mbappe leaves means Lemar less likely. I can see Madrid negotiating a deal where he stays at Monaco for another year then joins next season.

Wenger has said he is happy to let Sanchez go of Lemar comes in.

Aguero is currently better then mbappe, sanchez and jesus in my honest opinion. No way any manager under as much pressure as pep will be next season sells one of the best players on the planet in his peak to take a chance on potential that has no experience in the league. I really hope we sign mbappe as he has the potential to be incredible but I think it will be mbappe or sanchez. Think we are in with a great shout as there will be less pressure and lower expectations here. Real tend to turn quickly on underperforming players. Plus we have a great group of young players who he probably has plenty in common with ederson, Mendy, stones, foden, sane, sterling, b. Silva and jesus. Plus the pep factor we certainly must be appealing to him on doubt and I think his agent will be pushing him in our direction ("real will be there for your peak years" kinda push)
