Us wanting a player is not a negative and if it costs Madrid nearly £200M to land the lad then id say its pretty much job done by us and if we do land him then happy fucking days.

negative is being in no position to bid in the first place fella.

the only positive is getting the player...there is no positive in making it cost more for another team if they do eventually get the player....none at all....Madrid will not be effected by having to pay more....

I'd agree but only because of the price and the fact that people are forgetting he is not yet the worlds best player and may never reach that... he gets even better when he's not even playing in todays hype driven football world.

Mendes is also being asked to mediate for Monaco, so straight on the phone to Castles to ramp the price up a little more.
