What time have we wasted so far and have you told Pep and Txiki to stop wasting their time over Mbappe or Sanchez?

Seriously mate this club is operating at a new level this summer and we should all have a little more faith.

a) Mbappe wont go to one of our rivals.....Chelsea would be the only ones that could look at affording him and he aint going there
B) -Zidane is already on record as saying he likes the player....thats as good as saying he wants him...

We should be concentration on getting the signings we want, not on helping a greedy agent and some media hacks.

Time wasted?

Txiki's had time to sort out Mendy, Silva, Walker, Danilo, Luiz and Ederson, plus do all the leg work for Sanchez and Mbappé.

So....who cares?, How much more time does he need? "Oh no, Mbappé rejected us, we Txiki only had time to nail down our 5 first choice targets, plus Danilo and a few development projects!"

Also Zidane wanted Pogba. Perez told him no. ZZ works within a system at Real Madrid, he doesn't get carte blanche like Pep.

Im not saying we have wasted time so far but if (as TH is hinting at) Mendes is using us to drive the price up for Mbappe then there is no benefit in that for us....this would be a waste of time

I like our transfer dealings so far
 
I suspect Mbapé wouldn't cost City a penny! When it was thought that Messi might just leave Barcelona ne day,City had the money in place to buy him at a price comparable to this. Mbapé is the most exciting prospect in years , and if we don't get him now we might never get another chance. I think sponsors would be very willing to pay towards a transfer. Five sponsors for a fee of £200 000 000 equates to £8 million pa over a five year contract - an attractive fee for the world wide exposure sponsors would get.
