Im not saying we have wasted time so far but if (as TH is hinting at) Mendes is using us to drive the price up for Mbappe then there is no benefit in that for us....this would be a waste of time
I like our transfer dealings so far
You take one comment from Tolm and then hang everything off it mate.
He then went on to say we are very much still in the game for him and want him and Sanchez.
Thats not wasting time, its trying to sign world class players.

I have no complaints about our transfer dealings so far.......but to let an agent use us to drive a price up....that is wrong.....imho
He's not driving the price up, he's trying to bring Madrid's offer up to the asking price.

So i should take one part of his comment and not the other...he as much said that this is what Mendes is doing.....which also insinuates that his agent will know exactly where he will end up regardless.
Listen i would love to have Mbappe (though that much money for a kid who is only just proven is a hell of a gamble but it aint my money)......but its the agents I have a problem with

With the greatest of respects to Tolmie he is giving his opinion, thats all.
As for having problems with agents? Agree to a point given the money they demand and take from the game but they are here to stay and like this summer, a club like ours can make them work to our advantage and Mendes wont give a fuck where his cheque comes from, Manchester or Madrid once this has all played out and neither will the club and its fans who land the lad.
