The market is dictacting this transfer, Neymar leaving could cause a huge domino effect. Maybe Messi wants aguero. Mbappe is 11 years younger then Sergio I believe. It's worth itBut Mbappe has only one season of first team football in France, compared to many PL seasons for Sergio.
Even if we can persuade him to choose us over RM, there is no guarantee he will be an overnight success at such a young age. Wouldn't it be better to keep Sergio for at least a season to bed him in?

I agree with all you say although he has already written himself into our history. If we had the four, he would still be No1 based on his form in the latter part of last season. Sanchez is not an out and out striker, the two youngsters have amazing potential but neither have proven themselves over an extended period. He's never expressed any desire to leave throughout his time with us despite having the pick of teams if he wanted, and he's always maintained he's very happy here. Why are you perceiving him as somebody that would immediately shy away from a bit of competition and look to jump ship at the first chance he'd get? He's been here when we had Dzeko, Balotelli Tevez and himself all vying for two spots at best and didn't throw any toys out of the pram when he was rotated. I doubt he'd do it now either, and he's currently better than both Sanchez and Mbappe so he's more likely to bench them than anything.
Aguero is going nowhere. He'll be here until his contract runs down at least, he'll become our all time top scorer and write himself into history here
