Kylian Mbappe

Doesn't matter who gets involved for PSG. IF Monaco don't wanna sell to them then they wont. They either have us or Madrid Who seem willing to pay 100m+. If they sold Mbappe to PSG they would be handing the French league to them for the foreseeable future. However PSG are far from a complete team. Mid / DEF / GK still all kinda lacking.

Also if Mbappe is so focussed to go Madrid one time in his career I can't see PSG selling him unless its a stupid fee or he runs his contract down, which i'm assuming would at least have to be a 6 year one. Seen with Verratti, he got bitched into staying and apologised for wanting to leave...

As i've said before. To even think about getting Mbappe PSG would need to sell at least 4/5 of their high earners who aren't even first team players. (Lucas, Aurier, Krychowiak) Even Di Maria? ... A lot of things will need to fall perfectly and then Monaco probably still say no.

Really falls down to if Madrid want him this summer. I think he's our if not.
Having sold there best players already Monaco ain't going to win the league for the foreseeable future and knowing them there model is to make money on players so I personally feel if PSG offer the most they will sell to them.

Anyone know how reliable this guy is?

"Kylian Mbappe gives his preference to PSG! Paris will now enter into negotiations with Monaco and quickly make a first offer."

I see that the rest of twitter is taking this with more than just a pinch of salt.

Sold for sporting reasons my arse. No sporting ambition from the boy at all if this happens. Guaranteed league title every year for the foreseeable.

Yh true. Why not sell Fabinho there? 50m was what they offered apparently, unless PSG offer like stupid money I really can't see the PSG Monaco deal.

Like Neymar? PSG as a club are showing their ambition this summer just by who they're targeting and how unapologetic they've been about it. You've said that he'd be guaranteed a title every year but they didn't win it last season. Monaco did so PSG have come out swinging and dramatically improved their own squad by signing some of the very best players from some of the very best clubs in Europe. I just hope we're offering what they are and then the rest is up to him.

he'll go to PSG. Of course they'll turn down 40-50m for Fabinho but if PSG write them a check for 180m they won't blink twice.

Yes, like Neymar.

Last season was a blip. They lost their star man and Monaco stole a march (showing great character along the way). Now Monaco have been decimated. Wheres the challenge coming from?

Fair play to PSG for making the signings but its hardly going to be difficult for them. Signing for a club (much like ours) would show an ambition or hunger. Even if we signed Neymar or Mbappe we would not be guaranteed a thing as the Premier league is so competitive.

Week in week out is a slog in the Premier league. The french league is not. Every season that they get knocked out of the champions league their season is over.
