Ye I can't honestly see both arriving.
I was just thinking. Mbappe's price is extravagant, no need to argue that. But. He is 18 and young enough for at least 2 contracts. If he doesn't flop completely, it would be enough for him to score 15 goals per season to be great success. You don't buy another striker in his second contract and if current top striker rate is around 100 mil, it's going to be 150 in 5 years, so you basically get his first 5 years on free by paying those 150 mil. now.

David Silva will get plenty of games. But to me it's clear that Bernardo was brought in mainly to play his position. And to slowly phase out Silva from the starting 11.
He is 31, it's only natural that his role will get smaller. That said...the rotation between KDB/Silva/Bernardo means they will all play plenty of games.

Perfect time and circumstances to move Aguero on in my opinion. If we get an 18yo Mbappe for £160mill and sell a 29yo Aguero for £60mill minimum that would be cracking business.
