LOL!!........wont drop to your level by name calling and respect your love for City......thank you for giving me the biggest laugh I've had for years......your last couple of message show its impossible to have a intelligent discussion on the direction of the team......
perhaps you ought to try another forum then, one that meets with your high expectations and level of intelligence?

RAWK is that way ------------------------------>

you still going on? he!.....leave out the name calling and I would always enjoy a good discussion about City...we don't have to agree but it shouldn't be difficult to show respect towards others views....by not doing, that just shows a lack of intelligence or understand....sorry to say!

See, you try to say play nice, then you try to insult my intelligence

oh the irony

you are not a City fan, and masquerading as one incurs a ban
we welcome fans from other clubs as long as they are up front and respectful
unfortunately you fall in to neither category
now English may not be your first language so maybe some of the nuances are lost on you
you here to troll the transfer forum so pack it before I do it for you

We've won the league twice by the skin of our teeth when lets face it there were no outstanding teams in the PL .....United had been in decline, Chelsea were too and Arsenal had no consistency .... Lets get a reality check, one PL title won with last kick of last game of season and another won courtesy of a Gerrard slip. Mourinho comes back to Chelsea, one decent summer transfer window and Chelsea win the PL easily... Since Yaya, Silva and Aguero joining only signing of quality for me is Fernandinho and our clueless manager has not started him in quite a few games .... Stop talking bollocks everyone. Arsenal are getting there, so are rags, Mourinho wont be standing still and Liverpool have already bagged Jiimmy and cant posdibly be as useless as last summer in the transfer window!! All this f*cling complacency and banging on about past glories is worrying me ... Dont see us going anywhere but backwards under Pellegrini and Txiki needs to have the mother of all transfer windows!!

Aren't we lucky to have supporters like you! In 2012 we won the league with 86 points and in 2014 with 89. Sergio's goal in the 94th minute against QPR actually increased our total from 84 to 86 points, which won us the title on goal difference. So take your choice as to which points and which goals actually made us the most consistent team over 38 games, but the fact remains we won the title fair and square. Gerrard's slip against Chelsea was one mishap in a season full of them, some working in Liverpool's favour, some working against them. City had their share of bad luck and misfortune too - I can remember Vinnie's fluffed clearance going straight to Coutinho and there are others too numerous to mention which helped and hindered us, but in the end we won the title because we got 89 points - 2 more than Liverpool and 4 more than Mourinho's Chelsea. Mourinho's "one decent summer transfer window" actually came after he couldn't beat Villa, Norwich and Sunderland in the run in when the pressure was on, but no doubt those teams only show we weren't good enough because Mourinho told us his team weren't! Pellegrini achieved last season exactly what Mourinho did this and he didn't need to treat anyone to Mourinho's hypocritical drivel about docking points. I would also point out that "our clueless manager" gave Barcelona the toughest tie they have had in the CL, far harder than PSG - who put Chelsea out - did. This is with the bent rules to make sure we couldn't have "one decent summer transfer window" in three years but Mourinho and others could. So when it comes to talking bollocks you really are an expert.

Its only the 5th of June

This guy has been spouting shit all day Nev..he's either not a City fan or a complete bellend

It's 50/50 or maybe both

Spouting shit? I am spouting the facts.

1) Yes or no... has our team gone backwards since the 11/12 season?
2) Have we signed a genuine world class player since Aguero?
3) Did Chelsea wipe the floor with us this season... yes or no?
4) Name me one player Txixi has bought who you can genuinly say would get in most sides in the world?
5) I am a massive City fan, have been for 25 years, been through all the shit just like yourselves and although i do remember where we came from... whats wrong with having ambition and wanting City to step up to the next level? Since we won the league in 11/12 season, i thought we would kick on massively and build a squad to compete with the elite in the world... so far we are absolutely nowehere near.

Go on.. prove me wrong then. You can say i have been spouting shit, but i want to see you prove that i am spouting shit. Feel free to answer my questions accurately and correctly and not just hide away from the truth.

Don't you ever just look at our squad and then think that we have gone backwards since 2011/2012 season? We had a better squad of players and as Gary Neville always emphasises, City have gone backwards over the past few years and not forwards, which is very very disappointing considering that we thought we was about to build a dynasty after the 2011/2012 season. This season, we need to start taking giant leaps forward, especially in the transfer market if we are to have any chance of wrestling our title back.
We won the double last year so we have not gone backwards as much as you claim
You are either an extreme flapper or on a wind up on most threads and i chose the later so i won't be debating with you again

City won the double when Utd were weak, Arsenal were weak and Chelsea were in transition mode without a top quality striker. There is no room for error now with Chelsea being a much more complete side, especially now they have a top quality striker an a world class midfield player in their ranks.

Does it really not scare you in the manner in which Chelsea blew us away this season? We should have kicked on from our title success and bought genuine quality instead of adding more and more shit to the squad. A lot of pundits, journos and fans are now talking about Chelsea breaking away from the pack within the next few years and to be honest, i can see why, especially how we capitulated this season when we were under pressure. Now we have lost a player in Milner who was a key figure for us especially when going away to teams like Stoke away for example, we now need to make the right decisions and replace him with a player who is willing to fight for the shirt and dig deep when called upon. We cannot afford to carry passengers again like we did this season.

To catch Chelsea now, it is going to take some mega signings from us, they look far superior than us all over the park and are tactically more disciplined.

Under Mancini, we looked far more solid as a team and our defence was a much tighter unit. Under Pellegrini, we look all over the place at the back. We sold Nastasic who arguably looks a more complete defender than Mangala, who for me looks like he just does not have a football brain. I don't honestly care how many weights he can lift or how strong he is, his positional sense and reading of the game is nowhere near as good as either Lescott's or Nastasic's when they were both at City. Pellegrini and the backroom staff have a LOT of work to do. The jury is out for Mangala for me, one more bad season and he needs to leave ASAP. Yes, we score both goals under Pellegrini, but we have lost the art of being able to grind out results under Pellegrini in which will win you titles. Utd have done it over the years and Chelsea have mastered the art now.

As for the questions, you know i am right which is why you won't answer them. I am being a realist without the blue tinted specs on like most other fans. Even between City and Utd, it is difficult to pick which team will finish the highest this season and tbh, we should not even be in this position if the people behind the scenes at City could do their job properly. The money we have now, failure just isn't an option.
