Isn't this wrong?
Aren't NYCFC, Melbourne, and us simply all owned by the same company (City Football Group) and MCFC as a club don't actually have any ownership of the other teams?
Either I've got this completely wrong, or 90% of the press/bloggers/football web-sites can't be arsed to find out the real situation....
MCFC directly own the majority of shares in NYCFC
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/news/club-news/2013/may/club-announcement-new-york-city-fc-to-launch-21-may" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/news/club-news/20 ... nch-21-may</a>
Can't argue with that article on the official site. However I am now confused about where the City Football Group ( the holding company) fits in.

Comes across well and seems a decent sort.
Shut up Arsene.Pingu the Penguin said:Like lampard as a player, and think he will help us
Really uncomfortable about the whole situation tho.
He's not our player, but we pay all his wages and he comes to us at our convenience?
Sorry - it stinks, And is a really bad development for football (as opposed to our club)
