Andy Jacobs was having a proper hissy fit about this on talkshite. He is absolutely gutted about Lampard coming here.
In one breath he told us "He's spoiled his legacy and now he can't come back as a coach"

then it was "well its not like they're getting a player in his prime so I'm not bothered"

before coming back to "what if he scores against us, do we take a goal off his Chelsea tally? He's ruined everything, he's spoiled his legacy"

With all this talk about FFP again does anybody know if 3rd party ownership is covered in the rules? We can't have 3rd party owned players but some leagues in Europe still allow it. Does this not give them an unfair advantage since the transfer fee could be offset by some rich person?

It does, as does having a lower tax rate with wages.

Yet another disparity in the so- called FFP !
A blanket set of standardised rules and conditions imposed on clubs whose leagues and tax systems operate in different ways . Total lack of " level playing field"
Surely grist to mr. Dupont's mill.

Yes hopefully a court will see this and what a sham it is,invented to protect the cartel and fuck all to do with fair play and boot it into touch.

Does anyone know if Bosman had an easy time in the courts winning his case or did he also stumble at the first hurdle?

Imagine how much Zuculini can learn from him, Lampard's guidance could provide an extra step for someone like him. He comes without a price, he'll pick up some games in the cups, he fills the home grown quota, it's a perfect move for all concerned, unless you support Chelsea, that is.
