Sabster. Maybe you should watch Manchester City vs. Portsmouth 21-09-2008. I think you may change your mind.

Ok I will.

Edit:

Thats was the 6-0, 1 month before De Jong signed - I don't really understand the point being made.

Basically he's not as good as you make out.

What I will say is that I've been watching Madrid and City all season and De Jong is by far the better, more consistent player. Diarra has been shite for most of the season and now after one good game he's better than De Jong? Do me a favor mate.
This is a bold face lie. I have equally watched every Madrid game, and he is class in anytime he gets on. I mean it is really hard to be shaite playing for Madrid anyways, considering they are dominant in 90% of their games. But you are lying about Diarra to make a score a cheap point.

Don't remember people calling him world class whilst at Pompey, after rejection from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Funny what putting on a Real Madrid shirt will do to your ratings.
Same can be said of De Jong at Ajax and Hamburg, even at City by neutrals- So that line of thought can be applied to all sides. Matter of fact, at the DM position, the team you play for often determines your quality.

Yes I'm lying about Diarra to score a cheap point in argument with somebody on a football forum because I'm that sad.

You clearly won't accept what anyone has to say and quite frankly it's embarrassing.

Lol I am the one arguing against him (as in him not being as good as everyone says he is)

But yeah, he is nowhere near as key as he is made out to be.

So you didn't notice who wore the #6 shirt for Portsmouth then?

Lol I got completely the wrong end of the stick. (I thought you were referring to De Jong).

I am sure I could find a big loss in De Jong's career - so what? they happen.

im sick of people always saying players who play in europe are better than ours, just because someone has watched 1 game on tv.

diarra wasnt good enough at arsenal AND chelsea

week in week out NDJ puts in a shift, start getting behind and appreciate the world class players we have.

hart - 1st choice england goalkeeper for the next 10 years
kompany - best defender in premier league
NDJ - best defensive MF in premier league, played in world cup final
tevez - best striker in premier, by far

throw in silva, richards, johnston, yaya and on paper were a top european side, just wait until everyone clicks into place

well then, in what way is he better than De Jong?
Quick checklist:

Quicker - Diarra
Stronger - De Jong
Commited - Equal
Ground Covered - Diarra
Athleticism - Diarra
Ability on the ball - Diarra
Awareness - Diarra
Tackle - De Jong
Lungs - Diarra
Range - Passing and Movement - Diarra

Granted my opinion, but I think it is mostly right.
Sorry only saw this now, sabster was on about pepe

Diarras a good player but NDJ is TOP and if he keeps up he will make an all time City 11,easy. We really really don't need to be losing him for the final although without sounding blase i would rather lose him against stoke than say the rags/arse/chel.

Oh, my bad. Sabster is on his own on that one. As a specialist deployed to disrupt a better passing team, he is great, but as an all round DM, he is average. His technical skills are subpar. But as a diruptor against Barcelona, he is phenomenal because of his aggression and athleticm.

He is fast, athletic and has a motor like no other. He runs until he literally breaks down. It is an impressive athletic feat. Whether it is a football feat is another matter.

You might not even know you are lying :P But why don't you tell me the game you watched that he was shit in?

A general statement that he is always shit, is a lie from generalization. It is like how folks claim Barry is always shit.

I apologize for calling you a liar, bu e more specific, when was he shit?
