Watched Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings on Sunday, blimey it just goes on and on and on - some great special effects and fight scenes but there are just like 900 fight scenes FFS. Not the worst film but only 4 out of 10 from me

Only just got round to watching Traffic with Michael Douglas, it was a series of story lines rolled into one and a little confusing at times & don't blink cos you may miss Salma Hayek - ooh err

Tonight’s viewing sorted although reviews aren’t good, but what do they know?

It’s great. In my opinion they’ve delivered something entirely unique and unexpected of your typical Hollywood blockbuster reboot. I loved how meta it was and how strong and diverse the casting is. It’s a bold movie, one that I think is only going to be more appreciated as time goes on.

I honestly believe critics have been going in thinking it’s going to be in a Star Wars / Ghostbusters type reboot or a John Wick / Neo hybrid and it flips the whole thing on its head. It’s very well balanced and at times quite beautiful. Seems to be a lot of ‘this isn’t my Matrix’ type comments which I’m finding amusing.
