Last Film You Saw

White Heat - Cagney Film - Brilliant show. I love that the old movies seem like plays but with elaborate backgrounds.

I'm always fascinated that even though Hollywood wasn't around too long before movies like this were made, the actors, the writing, the style are as good as today (minus stupid CGI and deafening sound).

To be honest I enjoyed this more at home than The Batman in the cinema (Woosh, bang, mutter).

I really like old movies but what spoils them for me sometimes is the soundtrack, the full orchestra, it's too intense and loud sometimes, and I find myself absorbed more in the music soundtrack that the actual dialogue.

Pretty good.

Just watched 'A Violent Man' on Netflix. Don't bother - absolute pile of shite. I keep watching these shit mockney British gangster things hoping one will be on a parr with the Guy Ritchie films. Sadly not.
