Last Film You Saw

I Wanna Dance With Somebody - a biopic of Whitney Houston. For me the best female singer of my generation. Probably one for fans of Whitney as it’s full of her music so I enjoyed the film but it won’t go down as a classic. Nowhere near as good a biopic as Bohemian Rhapsody or Rocket Man. So it’s a 6.5/10 for the film (10/10 for the music:)

Interestingly we're at opposite ends of the musical spectrum as I can't stand any of the 3 acts you mention. :)

The Beanie Bubble, amazing what people buy and how fads come and go, cabbage patch kids, tamagotchi etc and people make fortunes off it 6/10

I think we're the same there. Love slow burners.

I rewatched "There Will Be Blood" last week, similar pace film.
If there is a film with a better performance than Daniel Day-Lewis in that I haven't seen it.

Paul Thomas Anderson. One of the most interesting directors working in mainstream Hollywood. Look up his other stuff, if you don't already know it.
