Last Film You Saw

Anyone recommend a good 'space/sci-fi' film?

My boy just expressed a desire to watch more of these and I'll jump at the chance to watch stuff with him (and that may likely be tonight when his mother and siblings are out).

He loved Interstellar and Blade Runner 2049 (as do I).
We'v watched the new DUNE too so I started to think of something new. This type of film can be sketchy....either looks great but awful script or dated (when sci fi was more popular).

Prometheus might be one to dial in - I enjoyed this, but then I'm struggling....

Looper and Arrival might be up his street based on the 2 he liked. Maybe Alien and Aliens might be worth watching before Promethus. Gravity, the fifth element and the Martian are a few other set in space off top of head

About a Boy. Haven't seen it for probably 15 years, such a bloody good film. Mind absolutely blown to learn Toni Colette is Australian
