Last Film You Saw

Bone Tomahawk, really enjoyed it. Can only describe it as a Western Horror film 8/10

"The small town of Bright Hope is terrorised by a tribe of cannibalistic savages known as the troglodyte clan. However, soon the town's men decide to put an end to the tribe"

I watched it recently and didn't think it was as good as I remember when I was much mu h much much younger. Sooooo racist which is funny in itself.
Mine and my dads favourite comedy of alm time along with life of Brian, he said he went to watch it when it was originally released in the early 70s said people were holding their sides at the cinema laughing.

Great film, Kurt Russell is very good (as usual)

Try Hostiles with Christian Bale if you liked BT. It's not horror as such.

My balls just contracted at the thought of, you know what.

Only, it really isn't. Ask yourself a question; who came out of the film the object of ridicule, sheriff Bart or the townsfolk of Rock Ridge? It was a work of genius by Mel Brooks, poking fun at the racism that was sadly prevelant back in the 1970s. One of the most iconic black actors of the time, Richard Pryor (another genius) co-wrote the film along with Brooks, and was down to play the part of the sheriff. But the studio got cold feet and backed off giving him the gig, allegedly due to his drug use. He had a reputation for being unreliable, and had been known to turn up for work totally stoned. Brooks was furious with the decision, and quit the movie for three days. Apparently, it was Pryor that convinced him to return to the film. As it turned out, Cleavon Little was brilliant in the role ("excuse me while I whip this out"). It's up there with Airplane as two of the funniest films I've watched.
